Deborah Flint was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) in June 2015, with oversight of Los Angeles International (LAX) and Van Nuys (VNY) airports. LAX is currently the fourth busiest airport in the world. Flint leads the team responsible for creating a world class airport that is a modern reflection of today’s global society. A proud graduate of the California State University system, Flint earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from San Jose State University. Flint has served on President Obama’s Advisory Committee on Aviation Consumer Protection, the Oversight Committee of the Transportation Research Board’s Airport Cooperative Research Program, is a director on the Airports Council International World Board and is the president of the California Airports Council.
