Director of Aviation, Port Authority of New York and New Jersey


Huntley Lawrence joined the Port Authority in July 1985 and became Director of Aviation in January 2017. He is responsible for managing one of the world’s largest airport systems, comprised of John F. Kennedy International (JFK), Newark Liberty International (EWR), LaGuardia (LGA), Teterboro (TEB) and New York Stewart International (SWF) airports. Previously, Lawrence served as Deputy Director of Aviation and has also held various staff and operations management positions within the agency, including General Manager of New Jersey Airports; Deputy General Manager of New Jersey Airports; Senior Manager of Security and Technology; Manager of the Airport Services Division; Manager of Landside and Customer Services; and Assistant Manager of Airport Services. Lawrence holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida Institute of Technology and a Master of Business Administration from Dowling College.
